A History of Rationing is a Survival book featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
Description
Book about the rationing that took place during the Second World War.
Background
During the Second World War, food and gasoline in Britain and Germany were rationed, as supplies were diverted to the military and factories were captured or destroyed by the enemy. Ration cards were used to obtain items and to ensure everyone could afford to eat.[1] Rationing did not end when the war conceded in 1945, with rationing continuing as long as 1954.
While the historical trivia of the book serve more as entertainment in the Dead Zone, the advice and information on rationing and conserving food supplies will be of use to survivors.
How to obtain
- It can be found while scavenging in the Dead Zone.
Effect
Reduces food and water consumption rate by specified percentage.
