Effect[]
They increase a survivor's scavenging speed and the chance of finding quality items by a percentage. They cannot be traded.
Variants[]
- Blizzard, which increases scavenge speed by 10% and the chance of finding quality items by 0.5%. It can be upgraded to Level 20.
- Below Zero, which increases scavenge speed by 12.5% and the chance of finding quality items by 2%. It can be upgraded to Level 40.
- Big White, which increases scavenge speed by 15% and the chance of finding quality items by 3%. It can be upgraded to Level 60.

How to obtain[]
- Level 15 Blizzard variants can be crafted using 50 Cold Steel, 20 Winter White, and 5 Whiteout Workboxes at a Level 4+ Gear Bench for 150 .
- Level 35 Below Zero variants can be crafted using a Blizzard Backpack at a Level 6+ Gear Bench for 250 .
- Level 55 Big White variants can be crafted using a Big White Backpack at a Level 8+ Gear Bench for 300 .
Tactics[]
Similar to ordinary backpacks, they are available for all survivors, and should be given to anyone who will be doing any scavenging. Scavengers do not benefit much from this, although the boost in finding quality items may be of use.
