Background
Bottles are wonderful at carrying just about any liquid. However, they'll spill their contents if tipped or shaken, requiring the use of a cap on top to seal the bottle. The "crown cork" was invented in the late 1800s and grasped onto the bottle with a set of "teeth". The cap is tightly attached to the bottle and must be removed with a bottle opener. Today, screw caps are most commonly used to seal bottles, as they are easy to open, easy to close, and fairly effective at their job. Many soda companies often print prize codes, messages, or promotional message underneath the cap, and caps are often collected by people worldwide.
