Bridge over water.
Once used as a means to travel between districts across the river, all that remains of them now are the remnants of failed attempts to contain the infection. Abandoned cars, overrun checkpoints, abandoned military vehicles, unfinished roadworks, and walking corpses litter these travel links, making them hazardous places for survivors trying to get across. The equipment left behind, however, may be of good use to any survivor.
The level of a Bridge is 3 levels higher than the highest-level area it connects to.
A very large map, bridges can be very dangerous for a single survivor. The road is obstructed with vehicles, which can impede both survivor and infected movement. It is strongly recommended that players bring along 5 survivors for this map, although 4 is still doable. Bring a combination of machine guns, assault rifles, and long rifles to handle the large quantity of infected on this map.
Group all survivors together in anticipation of the large pre-spawned horde. Move quickly and be alert, as the map spawns a lot of infected per wave. When the coast is clear, permit the scavenger to clear out as many containers as safely possible.
- Bridges get their own unique area, and the bridge is the only searchable location in that area.
