While survivors are able to obtain many weapons otherwise unobtainable in the [[Dead Zone]] via [[The Store]], they have sometimes discovered that these already high performance weapons simply don't cut it against larger and tougher hordes. As such, they have either improved their weapons based on rare military blueprints, or by outright improvisation. Either way, weapon effectiveness is improved greatly, though not without significant resource use.
