The Compound/Hunting Bow is a unique weapon featured in The Last Stand 2 and The Last Stand Union City.
Background
Archery may seem tame in an era dominated by firearms, but it is still a favourite hobby for many outdoorsmen and an important practice for various cultures. This bow design is one of many examples that have revitalized the art, both as an international sport and as a viable weapon against the undead.

Tactics
The Last Stand 2
Found in Whistler's Grove, this weapon deals good amounts of damage and fires and reloads fairly quickly for a single shot weapon, which ensures a consistent ROF. Headshots are a must for maximum effectiveness. Fellow survivors cannot equip it, only Jack.
The Last Stand: Union City
The same weapon as in the previous game, the bow is great for silently snuffing out small groups of enemies at a distance, but is a poor choice for close range combat or against large groups. Ammo can also be difficult to find through searching, but it can be purchased at King-o-Pawn, as long as the player has enough cash.
How to Obtain
- (Newtown) A Normal version can be found in a footlocker on the second floor of the Warehouse on Houston Street (end of the first area).
