The Crossbow is a bow featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
Background
This ancient Chinese invention served as the cheaper, simpler alternative to the bow and arrow, which required a life time of training and expertise in order to use properly. With the arrival of gunpowder-based firearms, crossbows were reduced to becoming a mere recreational pastime for archery enthusiasts, but has seen a resurgence during the zombie apocalypse for its silent, deadly properties.
Available in hunting and select sporting goods stores.
