DIY without a Budget is a Resource challenge book featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
Description
"Don't concern yourself with using too much material, there's always going to be plenty more."
Background
Crafting and repairing requires a lot of materials, in both quality and quantity. You can't be cheap when you repair something — it might break faster, or you might make it even worse! Don't take the time to carefully measure out the things you need to do the job — you're going to need to get more anyway. Just take as much as your arms can carry. If you need more, you can always get more.
Can be found in the homes of penniless repairmen.
How to obtain
- It can be found while scavenging in the Dead Zone.
Effect
Increases the repair costs (for barricades, watchtowers, etc.) by a percentage.
