Background[]
Although amber glass bottles are used largely for beer and pharmaceuticals mostly, it is common to see them containing over-the-counter medicine syrups, sodas, wine, essential oils, and more. Amber glass bottles provide excellent UV protection, preserving the components of the contents, while still letting enough visible light through for the contents to be easily visible. Unlike plastic and other synthetic materials, the nature of glass ensures that no harmful chemicals can leach into the product. As such, amber glass is frequently used to store drugs and medication for transport or storage.
