Explosives are comprised of various chemicals, resulting in a volatile substance that can then be stimulated to detonate in a sudden and devastating release of energy. They come in many forms, but are most often seen in military ordinance: deployed manually, or launched as projectiles. A survivor in possession of such weaponry (and the appropriate amount of prudence) will be a force to be reckoned with.
