The First Aid Kit is a type of gear featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone. It can only be equipped by Medics and the Leader.

Description

Basic first aid kit equipped for most situations, improves healing speed.

Background

If injured, even the most hardened survivors won't last long without basic medical treatment; these small kits contain only a limited variety of medications and dressings, but when well prepared and utilized they are still capable of stemming even serious wounds (at least until proper treatment can be applied), and are easier to carry than full medical kits.

A common style of first aid used for everyday injuries.

Effect

Increases healing speed by a percentage, depending on the First Aid Kit's level.

How to Obtain

• It can be scavenged during Level 2+ missions.
• A Maintained Complete version and a Maintained Expert version can be purchased using Fuel at the Fuel Trading Post.
• It's craftable.

Available Conditions

• Maintained, which increases healing speed by 1%.
• Complete, which increases healing speed by 2%.
• Common, which increases healing speed by 3%.
• Expert, which increases healing speed by 5%.
• Incomplete, which decreases healing speed by 2%.
• Old, which decreases healing speed by 2.5%.

Tactics

As it can only be equipped by two survivor classes, there's not much to be said about it. Medics should always have one equipped, as healing is their primary task. Leaders should only be equipped with it if the player feels that it is truly necessary, as it takes up a gear slot that could be used to enhance their combat abilities.
