Don't you think it's time for Con to make a new TLS game?!?! I'm talking about one that's similar in style and structure to TLS:UC, that it's SIDESCROLLING, it needs to have a much LONGER storyline. I'm thinkin it should be set in a diferent city, should have multiple storylines and characters you can play, and have multiple save slots. Large, interactable city with huge map, all the guns, all the gear-- everything! Unlockable maps of different parts of city. Just keep it lookin like TLS:UC!!!! Way too big a project, especially when they're still working on Dead Zone. In fact, maintaining and expanding Dead Zone will probably occupy all of their time for the foreseeable future unless Con decides to hire a lot more people. I would like to see it too, but it's unlikely to happen. Ecthel013 (talk) 18:25, March 2, 2014 (UTC)
Don't lose hope just yet though. We don't know how much more they're going to add to TLS:DZ. If they keep adding more, it could drown the game with feature creep, and they'll have to stop somewhere eventually. K6ka (talk | contribs) 18:42, March 2, 2014 (UTC)
I know how Con can end the DZ project easily: just nuke UC and say there was nothing else the government could do. And then, it opens to the Capital City (i'll leave it to con to name it!) and maybe it revolves around the white house village (a small city-community of survivors including the president that still operates as government) and how they need to make changes to their current situation in the apocalypse: prosecuting surviving herc members, wiping out zombies, assessing impact of deaths, recording names of deceased-- maybe even other countries' situations!!... Ending an MMO game isn't easy. You're pretty much destroying everyone's saved progress in the game unlike other games where the saved game is saved on the player's computer (such as TLS:UC). We've already seen EA shut down popular MMO games and it has pretty much added tags around their infamous nickname, "The Evil Empire". K6ka (talk | contribs) 18:51, March 2, 2014 (UTC)
I do feel Con has stuck to DZ because people have spent a lot of money on it, and it gave him a lot to expand, unlike the survival kit in UC, where hardly anyone donated... SHOOPderWOOP (talk) 19:25, March 2, 2014 (UTC)
Well, first of all, UC was a normal side-scrolling flash game. Yes, I know DZ is a flash game too, but it's an MMO. Free MMOs tend to make you spend money to "win" or else they can't generate a lot of money. DZ was a way for Con Artists to make money so they can't exactly shut it down can they? People have spent thousands of dollars buying fuel. 216.58.105.229 20:59, March 2, 2014 (UTC)

Most MMOs have no "winning" objective. They're like The Sims or SimCity. The "spending money" is only to make gameplay easier or to spruce it up a bit. And yes, I do feel sorry for those people who spend hundreds of dollars on games like these. I think it's a pretty hefty waste of money, especially if the game's by EA and then they shut it down. That's the thing. They don't need to shut it down, they could just ease up from the game a bit and focus on creating a new one. The new one would b like UC (not a mmo), but it would be much larger, so there would be many options whther or not u want spend real money. while the new game's gettin big, they run maintenance etc. on DZ. it sounds farfetched, since i betcha a new sidescrolling flash game is the last thing on con's mind!!
