Description[edit | edit source]
Kitchen hand mixer.
Background[edit | edit source]
Whipping, whisking, and stirring can take the joy out of cooking, and it's no surprise that tools were invented to reduce elbow grease. Hand-held electric mixers have two beaters inserted in the front, which is then held inside a bowl and switched on. Mixers are able to move and reach areas that a blender would otherwise miss. Most mixers are corded, though cordless versions exist.
*Safety note: Unplug before adding or removing beaters. Moving parts should attack food, not body parts.
