Headless Horseman's Horse's Head | |
Game |
The Headless Horseman's Horse's Head is a type of clothing featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone. It is only available during the Halloween event. It appears to be a rubber horse head worn over the head.
Description[]
The hollowed out head of the headless horseman's horse. Not really, it's made of rubber.
Background[]
The legend of the Headless Horseman has been known since the Middle Ages. While the setup is the same — a headless man riding a horse — the most popular version is the one from the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" story. According to the story, the horseman was a Hessian soldier that was decapitated by a cannonball during the American Revolutionary War. His body was buried but his head was not; thus, he rises every Halloween, riding a demonic stallion and seeking his severed head.
While there's no need to lose your head if you do not find a proper Halloween costume, you can always dress up as the Horseman's horse.
Effect[]
In addition to altering a survivor's appearance, it also provides a 5% boost to Suppression Resistance.
How to obtain[]
It can be obtained from Trick or Treat Trunks. A "replica" version is also available from the Replica Bundle of Halloween Past package for the 2014 Halloween event.
Trivia[]
- The Headless Horseman's Horse's Head is a reference to the Headless Horseman in European folklore. It has then appeared in various stories, movies, and books, and is a staple amongst horror-story tellers.[1]
