Background

A high-power rifle used in sport hunting; the absence of an internal magazine is meant to test the mettle of a true hunter, who has only one bullet to stop his quarry. Survivors able to live long enough to master this weapon may well become very dangerous prey.

Tactics

The Hunting Rifle is capable of killing zombies with a single headshot and possesses nearly perfect accuracy, making it a prime choice against armored zombies. However, its single shot makes it nearly useless against large groups, so having a faster-firing weapon as a secondary is recommended. Otherwise, players should pass it on to fellow survivors.
