A skull collected from an Elite Infected, used to craft some infamous items.
Background[]
The collection of human remains for use as trophies is as old as humanity itself. Some people like to take something from the deceased to either demonstrate dominance, commemorate the fallen, or prove success in battle. This last reason motivates survivors in the Dead Zone to take, in this case, ears from the dangerous Elite infected. Still, it seems odd enough that these "trophies" are needed to craft certain items used to battle the infected.
From heads to toes, to ears and eyes, to hands and feet, survivors can take the remains from nearly any infected they come across.
