Instant noodles were extremely popular in Eurasia, their continent of origin, largely for being convenient, very quick and easy to prepare, and for the most part, fairly tasty. While it is often criticized for being unhealthy, it is a valuable asset to survivors in the Dead Zone, especially for those who know little about cooking.
