A map of Jonestown
Jonestown is the second largest city after Union City. Pre-outbreak it had a population of 100,027. The player must pass through Jonestown to order to reach Union City.
You are exposed to attacks for longer partially due to being in a open air enviromnent, and the zombie hordes are at their biggest, prepare for total siege. Stay strong, for it's not much further to Union City, and safety.
If you want to leave Jonestown, you can choose from 2 destinations: Union City or Fort Tran.

- If one looks carefully during the initial loading screen in The Last Stand: Union City, a diary page says that people in Jonestown were getting a rare sickness, hinting that the infection either originated or passed through here.
- Shawn in Jack's group in TLS:UC comes from here.
- Sometimes, a Clown Zombie can appear.
