"The King has what you need, friend. Understand that the King can only accept CASH. In these uncertain times, friend, money is... uhhh... King. No trade-ins, no loans, no credit. It's all cash cash cash baby. See something you like, go ahead and pick it out."
— King, the (probably mentally unstable) owner of King-o-Pawn

King is an NPC in The Last Stand: Union City. He is the owner of King-o-Pawn.

He is located in both King-o-Pawn shops in Canal Park and Uptown, behind a bulletproof fence. He wears a blue t-shirt, a police kevlar vest, brown pants, and a pair of sunglasses. However, his most distinguishable feature is the golden crown he wears atop his head, which cannot be obtained by the player, nor can it be seen on any other NPCs or zombies. King tells players that he has what they need to survive, and that he only accepts cold hard cash. He permits the player to browse and pick out anything they like.

  • It is unknown how King manages to personally run at least 2 stores in different locations, though it is possible that the two are identical twins.
  • It is also unknown why King would ask for cash during the apocalypse, as survival requires weapons, supplies, and luck. It is likely that he is either mentally unstable, or he is saving up cash for the end of the apocalypse.
  • There is a glitch where, while entering or loitering inside King-o-Pawn, the King will start running all the NPC animations, including zombie death animations, while the player's currently held weapon will start rolling all the weapon animations.
