Kitchen knife block used for storing and sharpening knives.
Background[]
Knives are so incredibly useful everywhere, especially the kitchen. But they are also quite dangerous tools, ready to slice the next innocent hand that accidentally grazes the cutting surface. For this reason, large knife blocks are used to safely hold sharp, dangerous knives. Knives are inserted blade-first into the holes, and remain there until needed. Some knife blocks also have a blade sharpener built into them, which makes it easier for a cook to sharpen their knives immediately after taking it out.
Found in almost any kitchen.
