|Lump of Coal|
Description[edit | edit source]
Someone wasn't good this year. Zombie Santa knows all.
Background[edit | edit source]
The tradition of giving coal to naughty kids has many possible origins. They may have been used as a sign of teasing people in cold weather. Others say that since Santa comes down from chimneys and into the fireplace, that is the first thing he finds and hands the slack to naughty ones. Some argue it was originally given instead of fruits or nuts. No matter what the origin is, though, you've been bad this year, shame on you. Zombie Santa found you on his Naughty list, but hey, don't pout: coal is what you need to keep your stove burning for the rest of the winter.
Found in the Z-Mas stockings of Naughty survivors.
