The M1911 Pistol is a handgun featured in The Last Stand: Union City and The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
Background
One of the longest-serving self-loading pistols ever made, used extensively in two World Wars and throughout the Cold War before being replaced by more modern 9mm handguns. Still equipped by some armies, many manufacturers have kept this pistol relevant through significant aftermarket support.

Tactics
The Last Stand: Union City
The most powerful semi-automatic handgun available and a good complement to any primary weapon a player chooses to carry, as it can eliminate enemies quickly with its high rate of fire and damage output. However, players should be wary of its small magazine and make each shot count.
How to Obtain
- (Brookvale) A Damaged version can be found in a locked cabinet in Brookvale Heights (the player's apartment).
- (Canal Park) A Normal version can be found in a suitcase in Room 103 in Glendale Apartments.

The Last Stand: Dead Zone
Powerful, accurate and quick to fire, this is an incredibly effective weapon by nearly any standard. Combined with a quick reload speed, it can bring down zombies quickly and efficiently. However, its short range and small magazine might be a problem when facing large groups of zombies. Extended Mags or Glasses are highly recommended to counteract these drawbacks.

- Currently, the Suppressed variant does not have a suppressor modeled in either its inventory sprite or model.
