- A Normal variant can be found in a box on the top of a shelf in the first room of the Newtown Warehouse. (Newtown)

Tactics
The Machete is a good choice for a melee weapon in the middle of the game, thanks to its combination of high damage and decent reach, although it should be replaced when more powerful melee weapons are obtained.
