Area + 3
Description[edit | edit source]
Waterside military installation.
Background[edit | edit source]
As the infection spread and the situation worsened, the U.S. Government was forced to call back much of its military presence that was abroad. Not only troops and new equipment arrived but desperate civilians looking for a way out of the State as well. However, it did not take the infected much to overrun these places. Survivors that wish to get their hands on brand new weaponry must be ready to face the endless hordes that guard this place, ready to keep anyone from getting their hands on new means to kill them.
Possible finds[edit | edit source]
- Weapons, gear and ammunition are very common here.
- Medical items, food and water can be found.
- Wood, metal, cloth and junk, which can be recycled into components, are scarce but can be found.
Level calculation[edit | edit source]
The level of a Military Dock is always three levels higher than the area it is located in.
Tactics[edit | edit source]
In Variant A, there are five zombie spawn points located inside the base while three more are located in the park on the side of the road. Survivors start on one end of the street and must reach the other to exit the map. Most of the containers have components and junk, with the motor pool, improvised hospital, and the dining hall providing different loot.
In Variant B, survivors start on the northmost corner of the map and must reach the south corner to exit the map. Around 7 zombie spawn points are located; six at the edges of the map and one between two containers at the end of train tracks. This variant has more focus on weapons, ammunition, and gear as well as resources such as wood and metal.
Both areas have a high zombie spawn rate and are large maps so survivors should stick together as much as possible. With such an open map, assault rifles and light machine guns are ideal but a rifle is welcomed as well as long as the rest of the team provides support during tight situations.
