Newtown on the TLS:UC map.

Newtown is a section of Union City in The Last Stand: Union City and The Last Stand: Dead Zone.

The Last Stand: Union City

It has a danger level of 9 and is the first area in the game where Armored Zombies and Crawlers appear.

Houston Street

• U-ConBank, an unsafe bank. Contains a Where's Wilmo? skillbook, a No Zzz, a Medkit, canned beans, and some Cash.
• The Red Rum, an unsafe restaurant. Contains some Cash.
• Union Security, a safehouse. Contains 3 NPCs, Tyrel Johnson on the first floor, and Keith McNulty and Todd Stephens on the second floor, and a Police Baton, some ammo, a UCPD uniform, and Businessman, Nightwatchmen, and Batter Up! skillbooks. A gun cage is present, but is locked until you complete a Quest.
  • The gun cage contains a Death Adder .45, a Scoped Hunter Compact, a Custom Stock Shotgun, an MP5, 2 G17 Pistols, and a large amount of ammo.
• Warehouse, an unsafe storage facility. Contains a Heavy Wood Board, a Machete, a Martial Masters skillbook, an ammo stockpile, 3 Notes, a Hunting Bow with Arrows, and a G17 Pistol. Presumably a makeshift living shelter or safehouse that was abandoned by its inhabitant (a G17 hidden in the broken microwave, and food supplies kept in boxes).

Washington Avenue

• Earl of Burger, an unsafe restaurant. Contains some 9mm ammo, Cash, a Claw Hammer, and a Note.
• Paper Company Offices, an unsafe office block. Contains some 9mm ammo, 2 Bandages, a Batter Up! skillbook, and a Tauron 9mm.
• Mechanics, an unsafe mechanic's post. Contains a Pipe and a Heavy Claw Hammer.

Penhock Station - Subway

• Platform - Richards's corpse can be found at the very right. Search his body for the key needed to unlock the gun cage in Union Security.
• Train - contains a Jacked Up skillbook.
• Subway tunnel - there is a Safehouse here, which contains a Heavy Crowbar, some 5.56 mm ammo, a Pocket Knife, a Pipe, and a Note.
