The P-19 EX is a pistol featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
Background
Essentially an upgrade of an automatic version of the G17, the P-19 EX was developed by HERC armorers to provide better self-defense against the ever-stronger infected waves. Classified as a machine pistol, the P-19 has been equipped with a number of modifications to allow greater control over its very rapid fire. Regardless, it is incredibly difficult to fire effectively at anything other than extremely short ranges.
Issued to several HERC operatives for testing.

Tactics
A high-level variant of the G-18 which deals low damage, but offers decent accuracy. Its high rate of fire will lay down a significant amount of lead over its target but not the necessary to kill it. Survivors equipped with this gun will be good backup should the infected get too close.
Recommended gear
- Weapon Cleaning Kits counteract its low accuracy, ensuring less shots are wasted.
- Extended Mags will allow it to lay down fire for even longer before needing to reload.
- Ammunition Mods increase its low damage, reducing the amount of shots needed to kill a zombie.
