Description[edit | edit source]
Straight from Grandma's collection.
Background[edit | edit source]
Common rock candy is usually a supersaturated solution of water and sugar allowed to crystallize onto a stick or string, with added food coloring if desired. Their hard, solid nature, combined with the right conditions, ensures that these candies can last for a fairly long period of time without spoiling. Not recommended for people with braces, dental elastics, or fragile teeth.
