Medium strength synthetic rope.
Background[]
Made from twisting natural or synthetic fibers together, rope is an incredibly versatile and strong material. The earliest known records of rope being made was in ancient Egypt, where they were primarily made out of water reed fibers.[1] Rope making was also prevalent in ancient China, and soon the concept spread all over the continent. Rope made out of natural materials continued until the 1950s, when synthetic fibers became popular.[1] Rope still sees use in the modern age, primarily used for construction and for hauling heavy loads. Caution should be exercised when handling rope with bare hands, as friction on the hands can cause rope burns.[2]
Can be purchased from any hardware store and heisted from construction sites and warehouses.
