A pair of medical scissors.
Medical (or surgical) scissors are instruments used by doctors and surgeons to cut a wide variety of objects, including bandages, fascia, stitches, and biological tissues. Scissors come in different shapes and sizes, and are each used for different purposes. Most scissors use stainless steel due to its strength and durability, although tungsten carbide and "black-handled" scissors exist as well. All surgical scissors are designed to be resharpened, and should be done so regularly to maintain the instrument's effectiveness.
