Description[edit | edit source]
Short blade component from a knife.
Background[edit | edit source]
Short blades may seem inferior to their longer counterparts, but they offer benefits their bigger siblings can't provide. Shorter blades are easier to maneuver than longer ones, and they tire out the user to a lesser degree. Shorter blades are also easier to conceal, making them ideal for spies. In normal everyday usage, there is rarely a need for blades to be excessively long, as a short, durable blade can last the average user a very long time.
Can be removed from civilian knives, such as those used in the kitchen, or foldable knives.
