Making a snowball is nothing more than reaching down with your hands, scooping up a bit of snow, and then rolling it into a sphere! Kids have had endless fun being creative with simple balls of snow — smaller balls are used for snowball fights, medium-sized ones for forts and barricades, and large ones for snowy artistic creations! Who said winter was no fun?
The material needed to make snowballs can come naturally from the sky at the right temperatures, or made artificially in snow making machines.
