Background[]
Organization of paperwork requires the right tools for the job, and staplers are perhaps the most notable of such tools. Staplers fire a staple that holds a stack of paper together, preventing them from being separated unless ripped. Paper is placed on the base of the stapler, underneath the magazine containing the staples. The arm on top is then depressed, forcing a staple into the stack of paper. Many modern staplers are also able to "tack" objects onto walls and bulletin boards, with an outward folding base. Staplers are often used in offices, though they have seen blue-collared use in closing boxes and securing coverings.
Sold in stationery stores and found in almost every civilized office.
