The Stick Grenade is a Halloween-exclusive active gear featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone, introduced during the 2017 Undead Blitz update.
Description[]
A WW2 era German hand grenade. Increased range and damage, but bulkier.
Background[]
Also known as "Potato Masher" because of its distinctive shape, the Stielhandgranate was used by German military throughout WWII. Though they're ineffective against armored targets, they are extremely useful for clearing out entrenched infantry positions. Unlike modern grenades, the grenade had the explosive charge within a steel sheet cylinder atop a long hollow wooden handle which contained a detonator and a pull cord that ran from the detonator down the length of the hollow handle, emerging from the base. To use, a soldier would simply pull the string downwards and throw it as far as possible.
A relic from a past era, the infection made necessary its comeback if the necessary materials can be found.
