|Strong Medical Tape|
Description[edit | edit source]
Strong adhesive medical tape.
Background[edit | edit source]
Surgical tape, or medical tape, is a pressure-sensitive tape used to hold a bandage or dressing onto a wound due to their easy removability, without damaging the tissue. Medical tapes made of polyester, taffeta or a combination of synthetic and natural fibers are strong and flexible, usually covering areas that expand and contract with movement, like biceps. It can also bind together weaker tapes, like plastic or cotton. Depending on the material, you can either tear it or must be cut with scissors.
Found in medical centers, some households or advanced first aid kits.
