The Survival Ax is a bladed weapon featured in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
However, for some reason it is not considered a bladed weapon by the game. This is presumably a bug that will be worked out later on.
Background
The bigger, badder cousin of the hatchet, this useful tool can easily hack through foliage and undead flesh without sacrificing too much in the way of handiness. Very useful for anyone looking to survive in the woods or the urban jungle.
