Let's kick off this week's edition with... Game News The Research Update. The Research Bench will be a new structure for your compound, available for players Level 15 and up. With the Research Bench, you can put on your geek glasses and get ready to improve the life of your survivors, one test tube at a time. Each research endeavor you take on will require Research Items and Research Notes, but you'll be able to upgrade all sorts of things, from improved sanitation to increase comfort to stronger defenses for additional security. The choice is yours! (Coming sometime later this month) UPDATE: No, the update wasn't coming out this week (I know a lot of you got excited when you saw the servers were down for maintenance, thinking the update was being applied). Sorry, still got at least another week or two to go. Wiki News We've made some changes to how we deliver information about "Armor" to you. For too long, the Vest page was used to cover both vests and armor, with us believing that armor was a subtype of vests. However, the amount of armor in-game has made the page a bit too lengthy, so we decided to split the pages up. Now, Vest regains some real estate, while Armor gets its own spot to shine in. Do give us feedback in the comments section below each article! Remember that you can be the editor too! There is a proposal on modifying the layout of our weapons, gear, and clothing item pages!
