Currently, if a weapon is in multiple games, info for every version gets crammed into a single page. Personally, I think this is a messy and potentially confusing arrangement, which is why I'm thinking of giving each game's version a separate page.
As this is a pretty big change in terms of page numbers, I'd like to hear what the community has to say about it first before going through with it.
I'm thinking of doing something similar to the Fallout wiki (I'm open to alternatives, though), which has an overview page which describes the weapon's background, with all the gameplay info on separate, game-specific pages. The page names would look something like this:
- AK-47
- AK47 (TLS)
- AK47 (TLS2)
- AK47 (TLS:UC)
- Golden AK-47 (TLS:DZ)
- Golden AK-47 Custom (TLS:DZ)
Next, simply move the relevant info and categories to their respective pages. Then, there should be a link to the other versions and the overview page at the top of the weapon pages, something like this:
This article is about the version in [insert game name here]. For other versions, see [links to other versions here]. For an overview, see [link to overview page].
Finally, update all links to that weapon to lead to either the overview or the appropriate gameplay info page, depending on context.
