|Weak Medical Tape|
Description[edit | edit source]
Weak adhesive medical tape.
Background[edit | edit source]
To avoid further damaging a burn or laceration, bandages and gauze are non-adhesive so they do not stick onto the wound. However, this same trait also makes them difficult to keep in place. Medical tape is therefore used as an adhesive solution that goes on top of the bandage or gauze, holding the material down via pressure. Some medical tapes are perforated for easy removal, although this also makes them incredibly fragile.
Found in medical facilities suffering severe budget cuts.
