Motorized winch from the front of a vehicle.
A winch is a device used to pull in or let out wire or rope. Some winches are manually operated, consisting of a simple hand crank and bobbin. Most modern designs employ motors, however. Winches are often used for lifting elevators, towing vehicles, raising sails, and snowboarding.
Car winches are mostly found in off-road civilian or military vehicles.
